Home security

From the start, please note that our website has nothing to do with New Zealand’s TV 2 "Home Security" television program. This site is aimed at those who take their security seriously and derive their peace of mind from complete comprehension of surrounding reality – not in being persuaded that installing window locks and trimming the garden will make their house safe. Home security is a complex game of strategy and requires a structured approach to it in order to be tackled efficiently.

Before jumping into home security solutions as most do, we will first define the objective, and secondly, explore the kinds of threats to be dealt with and the motives behind these threats.

Neither may you be allowed to protect your home with security cameras: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/index.cfm?c_id=1&ObjectID=10329560. Please note that the cause for the cameras was the inability of authorities to offer adequate protection from criminals.
